What time does check-in open?
Check-in opens at 8:00 am on the morning of the event.
When do I pick up my running bib and event t-shirt?
You can simply pick up your running bib and event t-shirt when you check in on the morning of the event.
Who gets a t-shirt and a medal?
All 5k and 10k runners will receive a running bib, an event t-shirt and an event-specific medal.
Kids who participate in the fun run obstacle course will receive a generic medal.
Where should I park?
Street parking is available for free in the neighborhood. The parking lot at Oak Chan Elementary is also available for free.
What is the kids' fun run?
We are working hard to make this a fun community day for families and people of all ages and physical abilities. To that end, we are organizing an obstacle course fun run for kids under the age of 8. It will take place in the big grass area of Cohn Park and will include a variety of obstacle features for kids to enjoy. Parents can join their kids or watch from the sidelines (depending upon personal preference and age of the child). Kids are welcome to run the course as many or as few times as they like.
Are strollers allowed on the trails?
Yes! This is a family friendly event. Everyone is welcome.
Are dogs allowed on the trails?
Of course! The course is on the Parkway community trails and is open to the public.
What else is there to do at the event?
We will have an MC, a DJ, and a face painter at the event to provide fun and entertainment to participants. There will be snacks for runners after they complete the course. And Cohn Park has a lovely playground for kids and their families to enjoy.
